Notes:
1. Sold only in complete sets at double face value. Half the proceeds went to the newly formed Ethiopian Red Cross.
2. Sold in New York beginning March 1, 1936. Self-addressed envelopes with stamps affixed were sent to the Ethiopian Red Cross and mailed from Addis Abeba. The mint stamps were also available in some European capitals.
3. Stamps exist with the cross misplaced, sometimes in the top center.
